Our Mission
The Associate Board of the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago
is composed of a group of individuals who volunteer, raise
money for, and promote awareness of, the Rehabilitation Institute
of Chicago. The Board has been in existence for since 1990
and currently boasts more than 90 members.
Our Commitment
Associate Board members participate in many different ways.
Some volunteer on the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago's
pediatric floor where they interact with children and adolescents
receiving rehabilitation care. Others prefer to work on fundraising
events such as the Bearcat Ball or ArtFutura by acquiring
silent auction items, selling tickets or planning entertainment.
The Associate Board directs its monies to a few primary entities
within RIC RIC's Pediatric and Adolescent Program,
Pediatric Charity Care and art therapy programs through Therapeutic
Recreation.
Most Board members have full time jobs aside from their commitment
to the RIC. The following companies have members on the RIC
