The Associate Board supports the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago Therapeutic Recreation Department by contributing financially to fund a part-time art therapist and purchase supplies for the art therapy program. Art therapy is based on the belief that the creative process involved in the making of art is healing and life-enhancing and plays an important role in the recovery process of RIC patients.
